Tip on: Core Transitions

Maintain the drawing in and up aspect of Core Plank, and keep your knee anchored towards your chest. If this alignment is too challenging right now, put your back knee down as you work the motion of the front leg.

In the full pose, it will help strengthen your forward step if you resist lowering your hips until your foot is down.

Also, keep your tailbone scooped as you try to reach your knee through your very upper arms before putting the foot down. It's an effective arm and core strengthener, and the foot lowers at the very last second.
