Extended Fish

Benefits:
Physical: Opens chest throat, and upper back
Emotional: Freeing and liberating; opens the heart

1. Lie on back, legs straight in front of you, arms along sides of the body, palms down.
2. Press into the palms, lift chest toward the ceiling.
3. Lift head slightly off the floor, place the top of the head back on the floor.
    Form tip: Squeeze shoulders in toward each other.  
4.    Lift arms out to the sides, then up over the chest, bring palms together, arms straight.
5.    Lift legs straight off the floor, heels are about 18 inches off the floor.
6.    Hold for 3 to 5 breaths.

The following steps are not in the video.
7.    Not shown: Lower legs to the floor.
8.    Lower hands along the sides of the body.
9.     Gently untuck the head, place the back of the head on the floor.
