Double Toe Hold

Benefits:

1. Sit with knees bent, feet flat on floor, hands rest on knees.
2. Grab big toes with first two fingers and thumbs.
3. Walk heels in closer to buttocks.
4. Lean back slightly.
5. Lift feet off the floor until shins are parallel with the floor.
6. Continue lifting legs straight up until body forms V-shape (like Boat pose).
7. Hold for 3 to 5 breaths.
8. Continue holding big toes, bend knees, lower feet to the floor.
9. Place hands on knees, straighten spine.
